Approximately 90 Flights Associated to Jeffrey Epstein Reportedly Landed at or Took Off from UK Airports

A review has identified that close to 90 aircraft journeys associated to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein reportedly landed at and took off from British airfields, with some allegedly carrying women from the UK who allege they were abused by the found guilty child sex offender.

Aviation Records Uncover Trail of Travel

These aviation records were part of thousands of court documents and files released by Epstein’s estate that have been released over the last year. The investigation uncovered 87 aircraft movements tied to Epstein – including many that were previously unknown – arriving or departing from British airfields between the early 1990s and 2018.

Onboard Individuals and Post-Conviction Travel

Unnamed female passengers were documented among the passengers flying to and from the UK. Notably, 15 of these UK flights took place after Epstein’s 2008 guilty verdict for procuring prostitution from a child.

“This is ‘astonishing’ that there had never been a ‘full-scale UK investigation’ into his operations in the country,” remarked American attorneys acting for numerous Epstein victims.

British Victims and Legal Proceedings

Evidence from one of the UK-based survivors helped convict Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. Yet, that victim has not received any contact by police in the UK, as stated by her Florida-based lawyer.

In a response, the Metropolitan police said they had “not received any new information that would support restarting the inquiry.” They noted, “Should fresh and pertinent evidence be presented to us, encompassing any resulting from the release of documents in the US, we will review it.”

Ongoing Disclosure and Legal Rulings

Proposed legislation to make public every document held by the US government in regarding Epstein passed the US Congress last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to adhere to this requirement. A vast number of documents are expected to be made public.

Additionally, a US judge ruled last week that the DOJ could make public evidence from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s long-term associate, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence over the charges.
