FC Barcelona Set to Play Inaugural Fixture at Partially Completed Camp Nou over the weekend

Barça revealed their first game will take place at the still-under-construction Camp Nou over the weekend. Athletic Bilbao will visit Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish league two and a half years following their departure so building work could begin.

“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Attendance will be limited though over 45,000 attendees can be present as per the current authorization. When completed, the Camp Nou is due to hold over 104,000 attendees, a rise from the old capacity. Barça announced finished work included a renovated tunnel for players and new dressing rooms.
