The former president's Family Member Gets Professional Advice from Tiger Woods Ahead of Professional Golf Debut
This young athlete maintains impressive social media following
The young golfer will have multiple high-profile cheerleaders as she starts her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, received a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika competition in Florida.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates several golf courses and often competes against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have some close matches," she stated.
Kai explained that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply stay calm."
"He essentially told me to play and relax," she explained.
"To me, he's just a normal grandpa. He can't make it for the tournament. He's busy with presidential duties, making him quite busy."
As an amateur, the golfer has played in only three events recently and maintains ranking 461 in AJGA rankings.
But she can seek guidance from golf legend, in a relationship with Vanessa.
"He represents the top athlete globally," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's a superior human being. He advised me to play, have fun, and go with the flow."
The golfer will compete against several most prominent players in women's golf at the competition, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Officials stated that involving Kai helps introduce the sport to different demographics, especially among the next generation.
The young star has a massive following and recently launched her own fashion and living company.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
